I’ve read hundreds of interviews with avid travelers, but none quite as fun as the Travel Friday Memory series by The Travel Tester. I had the pleasure to be interviewed by Nienke, in which I discussed how and where I used to travel as a child and what has changed since. I really enjoyed answering her questions, and going down memory lane.
If you want to have some laughs, check out my vintage pictures from back in the day. Technology has changed so dramatically in the past few years alone, that it is almost comprehensive that once, we used to do it the old-fashioned way. Snap, wait, develop. Hope the pictures look decent. No filters, no instant editing. As a self-professed photography addict (both camera and iPhone), I now relish the sight of these vintage pictures, that so perfectly capture the essence of my family of two decades ago.
Enjoy! Do you have old family pictures from when you used to travel as a child? What do they bring to mind?
