I sure hope the Mayans had too much tequila to drink when they predicted the end of the world would happen tomorrow. The word simply cannot come to an end; I’m not done yet! Here’s why:

1. I need a break from worst-case scenarios after Sandy hit New York City.
2. I have three parties to attend tomorrow: one going away party, and two Christmas parties.
3. I haven’t seen Brazil yet.
4. I cannot miss the long awaited Arabian nights …
5. I just finished a fabulous social media project at NYU. I sure hope I didn’t spend countless hours with graphs and social media analytics for nothing ….
6. I’ve invested a lot in myself; 2013 has to be the year I will reap the results!
7. I already signed up for a travel conference in June, I cannot miss it!
8. I’m in the process of achieving my greatest dreams; I cannot be interrupted.
9. I don’t have my own travel show yet.
10. I haven’t met certain people yet.
11. I haven’t become a mother yet.
12. I need to see my adorable nephews all grown up!
13. I haven’t seen enough of the world yet …
14. I haven’t ridden an elephant in Thailand yet.
15. I haven’t published my first book yet.
16. I need to see what happens next on Mad Men. Oh, and Boardwalk Empire.
17. Bali! There is no way I am missing on Bali.
Seriously, I don’t have time for the end of the world. Do you?
