Just as my blog suggests, I feed off whimsical tales of travel, fashion and design. This weekend, I had the greatest pleasure to do just that; travel to a serene picturesque location for a whimsical wedding, dress up, and admire the overall decor.
Shenorock Shore Club, a members-only venue, with a New England first-class feel was the location for the happy event. Located of the Long Island shore line, in Rye, New York, I was pleasantly impressed the celebration came with a dreamy view and a splendid porch. I enjoyed all the elements of the wedding, including the table and flower arrangements, as well as the hanging balloons from the ceiling. The picturesque landscape and simple yet tasteful touches all came along together, harmoniously, for this whimsical wedding by the beach.
I wore a Sue Wong gown, Stuart Weitzman sandals and a DKNY clutch, all scoured thanks to my savvy New York shopping sense. I felt incredibly comfortable and elegant in the gown, and judging by the amount of compliments I received, I should send a personalized thank you note to Ms Wong!
Congratulations Danielle and Robert, and may you have a long and happy marriage!
