Back in 2008, I was contacted by someone working for a local Toronto city guide if they could include a picture I had taken of the Fairmont Royal York. I happily gave them permission, after which Managing Editor Emma Williams notified me that they included my credited photo in their Schmap Toronto Guide.
This time around, the Editor of Schmap Guides, Fiona Hughes, wrote back to inform me that they’ve recently reformatted and overhauled the Schmap Guides to include real-time local buzz for events, restaurants, bars and more.
