This Labor Day long weekend was certainly full! Besides visiting Block Island for the first time, I passed through Boston once again, and stopped for a night in Cambridge, to spend some time strolling around the Harvard Campus. Two years after I had first seen it, it had the same impact as the first. So architecturally rich, broadly spread out and academically stimulating, I simply didn’t want to leave. I fell in love with the English style architecture, the sumptuous buildings and the overall elitist college town feel.
As for accomodations, I was very pleased with the overall experience at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Cambridge. The cosy suite was in fact a generous apartment, overlooking the scenic Charles River and Boston Esplanade, offering panoramic views of the Boston and Cambridge skylines. I highly recommend it.
Also see pictures from the Harvard Business School campus.
