I am not an art fanatic; however I do have some favorite painters/styles. This particular interest came upon from my upbringing, growing up in my parents and grandparents’ house full of impressive paintings in every single room, my grandfather’s advocating for art, art books and going to museums and my own creative side. After seeing quite a lot of museums in my life, I have developed higher interest in Flemish, Dutch, French and Spanish painters, such as:
1. Johannes Vermeer
2. Claude Monet
3. Vincent van Gogh
4. Edgar Degas’ Balerinas & Pierre-Auguste Renoir
5. Diego Velasquez Las Meninas
6. Pieter Bruegel the Elder
From the more modern, rather strange painters, I appreciate, which is not to say I love, but find smartly put together while somewhat creepy: Frida Kahlo, Salvador Dali & Pablo Picasso.
